In 2026, Messy Church invites children, families, and all ages to explore the parables of Jesus — the short, imaginative stories he told to help people understand God, themselves, and the world around them.
Parables are everyday stories with a deeper meaning. Jesus used familiar images — seeds and soil, lost coins, parties and picnics — to open hearts and minds to big questions about love, forgiveness, justice, and God’s kingdom. They are stories that make us think, smile, wonder, and sometimes see things in a completely new way.
Through creative activities, storytelling, celebration, and shared food, Messy Church offers a relaxed, fun, and welcoming space to discover these stories together.
Whether you’ve heard them a hundred times or never before, come and see what the parables might have to say to you today. Everyone is welcome.
Come and join us for messy fun, games, songs, stories, crafts and a jacket potato lunch, as we unpack the Life of Jesus!
