Sunday Worship

Sunday morning worship begins at 10.30am with ‘all age worship’; children, young people and adults in the church together for the first part of the service. The hymns chosen each week are a wide mix including children’s worship songs, contemporary and traditional; a diverse mix sometimes accompanied by piano/organ, sometimes accompanied by our praise band.

All our Services are now “Hybrid”  Click here to follow Zoom link to service

After around 20 minutes and following a prayer, the children, young people and their leaders leave to continue their worship in the Church Halls, in their Sharing and Learning Together (SALT) groups. These groups provide age appropriate activities and all the leaders are DBS checked.

On the first Sunday of the month the morning service includes Holy Communion. We offer an open table to all ages, to all who follow Jesus and wish to share the bread and wine.

On several Sundays per year, the morning worship is in the form of a Parade Service, which includes our youth and childrens’ organisations (including Scouts, Guides and Pilots) that are an integral part of Park United Reformed Church.

After the service we serve coffee/tea/squash and enjoy time together in David’s Hall & Large Hall.

Messy Church –  runs monthly in the mornings – meeting separately in the church hall  – see the Messy Church webpage for further details
